Spring break is officially over. Now that I'm back into the swing of things, the semester seems to be making this downward spiral towards finals week which is in a little over a month. It can sometimes be hard to keep your head above water, but I am lucky enough to have professors who care here at MSU-WP. Just yesterday one of my teachers gave the class an extention on our papers by a week because he had assigned an essay and a book to be read by next week. I've never been happier!

It's also the time of year to be thinking about class possibilities for the summer semester or the fall semester. It's time for everyone to reanalyze their goal and what they want to accomplish at MSU-WP.  I am super excited about the summer semester because over spring break I recieved my acceptance letter into the nursing program here. I was so excited! My plan is to hopefully graduate with both my associate of applied science in nursing and an associate of arts in general studies two years from now! I have never been more excited about ASK week from April 14-18. During this time I will meet with an advisor that will help me plan a class schedule that will help me accomplish this goal. Then early registration starts the week after on the 21st of April.

I encourage all current students to talk to their advisor during ASK week, and for all you prospective students out there, if you choose to go to college at MSU-WP, remember you are not alone. Your assigned advisor will provide a great deal of help toward you getting your associates or even your bachelors through the Springfield campus at West Plains!
