West Plains Club Golf Team

Missouri State University-West Plains established a men's club golf team in 2006. After a highly successful season that included a trip to the NJCAA National Tournament, a women's team was formed soon thereafter. Grizzly golf team members receive strong support and excellent instruction.  We invite inquiries from student interested in becoming involved in a well-organized collegiate golf program. Consider these strengths:

Missouri State University

• Missouri State-West Plains is the two-year open admission campus of the Missouri State University system. It is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association. It is an A+ eligible institution. Our highly qualified faculty and staff are committed to educating student for a lifetime of learning, citizenship, career development, and personal enrichment.

• Head Coach - Phillip Wade, 2002 Missouri State Golf Association Senior Champion and Golf Stroke Engineering Master (GSEM) with The Golf Machine, a premier instructional program for Professional Golf Instructors.

• Fundraising Coordinator - Paul Knight

Golf Team Facilities

• Team practices and home competitions are held at the West Plains Country Club golf course, a championship layout enjoying the finest condition of its 80-year history.
• Additional team venues include two exceptional resort courses at Cherokee Village, Arkansas North Course and South Course, and Big Creek Golf & Country Club, recently rated "five stars" by Golf Digest, in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
