Welcome to Missouri State University-West Plains. The West Plains Campus offers Associate's degrees, transfer programs, and training for immediate employment. Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees are available at West Plains through Missouri State University-Springfield's Academic Outreach Office located across from the West Plains Post Office.

The Missouri State University-West Plains campus is just a short walk from the downtown business district where students will find an assortment of specialty shops and restaurants perfect for shopping and enjoying meals with friends.

If the outdoors are more your liking, you'll find ideal areas for canoeing, fishing, hiking, and camping at the many lakes, rivers and national forests that are just a short drive from town. Inside the city, students can take advantage of walking and biking trails, parks and swimming facilities, and a municipal golf course.
