- Students will demonstrate their learning on the research paper, which will be scored, for assessment purposes, according to the Writing Evaluation rubric.
- Students will demonstrate their learning on the final essay exam, which I will save and evaluate according to my five point rubric.

How will the results be used? Who is responsible for course/program modification?

The results will be used to assess whether my instruction is as closely aligned with my objectives as I presume, whether an acceptable number of my students are mastering the objectives, and whether the objectives themselves need to be revised. The instructor is responsible for the modification of his or her course.
