  1. Analyze and synthesize information from a variety of sources and apply the results to resolving complex situations and problems.
  2. Communicate mathematically by writing various equations when given appropriate information.
  3. Find the zeroes of functions and use these zeroes appropriately to graph the function.

Part Two: Indirect Assessment

Indirect assessment techniques used:
 
  1. Instructor will encourage the students to look outside of class and then share with the class real-world situations that model the material we are covering in class.
  2. Several real-world applications will be examined in class and students will be given time to extend and comment on the material covered.
