Missouri State University-West Plains held an Enrollment Celebration on Sept. 24 to celebrate a record-breaking enrollment for Fall 2009 and to commemorate the passing of a major enrollment milestone. At the event, officials announced the final enrollment total of 2,162 students, an 18 percent increase over last year’s record-breaking final enrollment number of 1,834. The Fall 2009 enrollment marks the first time since the campus was founded in 1963 that Missouri State-West Plains surpassed the 2,000 student milestone.
