CO scholarship funds are applied to student accounts to pay educational and campus residence expenses. Any surplus is issued to students by check to pay books, supplies and other educational costs. CO jobs involve 15 hours of work per week during the fall and spring semesters in various campus offices and departments. The hourly wage is $7.50. During a one-year period, CO awards (scholarships and jobs combined) may not exceed $10,000; the work component may not exceed 1000 hours; and the total scholarship award, including the work component, cannot exceed the amount of unmet need as calculated on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
