An official Missouri State University-West Plains Transcript is a chronological listing of the student's academic record at Missouri State University-West Plains printed on safety paper. This type of transcript bears the University Seal and is mailed directly to another university or outside agency. The transcript also lists courses in which a student is currently enrolled and/or registered for in future semester(s).

Transcripts will not reflect courses dropped during the Change of Schedule period. For students with transfer credit, an entry will appear on the transcript indicating the number of credit hours awarded for each institution attended.

Unofficial copies of a student's transcript will be printed on plain paper and stamped "UNOFFICIAL" and "Issued to" Student

All students are issued one copy of their official transcript upon graduation. Requests for additional copies must be made in writing to the the Office of Registration and Records. Transcripts will not be released for students who owe $10 or more to the University. Such debts must be paid in full before the transcript can be released.
