College Level Examination Program (CLEP)

Offered:

By appointment only. Computerized test takes 90 minutes to complete.

Scope:

CLEP tests are available for the following courses:  HST121, HST122, HST101, HST102, SOC150, PSY121, ECO155, ECO165, CFD15, MGT120, PLS101 and MTH135.  Students meeting the credit-granting score of 50 on the foreign language tests will receive 6 hours of credit for SPN101 and SPN102, FRN101 and FRN102, or GRM101 & GRN102.

Fees:

$80 total:

  • $15 to Missouri State - West Plains
  • $65 to CLEP

Persons seeking course exemption for related courses.

Register at SAAS Office in person or by phone, 417.255.7222.

Other:

On the date of the test you must bring the following items:

  • Missouri Driver's Licenses or Non-Driver ID;

College Level Examination Program (CLEP) tests measure a student's mastery of college-level, introductory course content in a wide range of disciplines.  Students meeting the credit-granting score of 50 will earn the credits and course exemptions for the related courses.
