Student Employee Requirements
All new student employees are required to complete the University's Student Employee Training module. The components of the module (include the Student Employee Training Quizzes, Confidentiality Agreement and Equity and Diversity Training must be completed to work in any university department or office. Both tasks and subsequent documentation must be maintained by the student's work supervisor.
The process (quizzes, confidentiality agreement, equity & diversity training) must be completed at the time of hiring. It is the supervisor's responsibility to see that all student employees working in their department or office have the proper information on file.
Student Employee Training Quizzes
- Students: There are 5 separate quizzes that you will need to take.
- Each quiz will be graded on an individual basis.
- A minimum score of at least 80% is considered passing for each quiz.
- At the end, make sure all the different quizzes are graded and print the results for your supervisor.

Confidentiality Agreement
- Supervisors: Access the Confidentiality Agreement form, and print.
- Have student read and sign the agreement; keep completed copy for Office records.
Equity and Diversity Training
The equity and diversity has three parts.
- Preventing Sexual Harassment
- Preventing Employment Discrimination
- In Their Shoes - Disability Awareness Training
Both should be completed under the non-supervisory section. At the end of each is a mastery test which concludes with a certificate which must be printed, signed and a copy give to the supervisor.
