The West Plains Civic Center Pool and Fitness Center is operated by Missouri State University-West Plains under a cooperative agreement between the City of West Plains and the University. The fitness facility is equipped with cardiovascular and strength/conditioning equipment, an indoor pool, sauna, and hot tub.

• Lifeguard Lessons - Student must be at least 15 years of age. This is a Jeff Ellis and Associates, National Pool and Waterpark Training Certification Program.  Program is provided in the Spring of each year.
