    WEST PLAINS, Mo. – The Missouri State University-West Plains Grizzly Basketball team will open its home season at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 9, when they host the Northeast Mississippi Community College Tigers from Booneville at the West Plains Civic Center arena.
    “We are excited to have our home opener with a team of Northeast Mississippi’s caliber,” said Grizzly Basketball Head Coach Yancey Walker.  “They have been to the NJCAA (National Junior College Athletic Association) national tournament and have enjoyed their share of success in Region 23.  They’ll be very athletic and well coached.  This will be an exciting game for those in attendance.”
    Tickets for all of the Grizzlies’ regular season home games will be $4 per seat for reserved seating and $2 per seat for general admission.  For ticket information, including purchases of season tickets, call the Drago College Store at 417-255-7227 or the Grizzly Basketball office at 417-255-7993.
    Colton’s Steakhouse and Grill in West Plains will sponsor the game.  “We’d like to thank Colton’s staff for sponsoring our first home game of the season,” Walker said.
