'A Celebration of the Season' concert set for Dec. 6
WEST PLAINS, Mo.– Sounds of the holiday season will fill the air of the West Plains Civic Center theater at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 6, when the Missouri State University Community Band from Springfield and the Ozarks Festival Chorus of West Plains join forces to present “A Celebration of the Season.”

Grizzlies win 1st match at national volleyball tourney
COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa – “I’m just glad it’s over.” Those were the sentiments of Missouri State University-West Plains Grizzly Volleyball Head Coach Paula Wiedemann following her team’s first-round victory this morning at the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I Women’s National Volleyball Championship Tournament at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa.

Grizzlies remain perfect on the season

Students continue above-average trend on CAAP Test
WEST PLAINS, Mo. – For the 14th consecutive year, students at Missouri State University-West Plains have scored at or above the national average in all categories of the Collegiate Assessment of Academic Proficience (CAAP) examination, university officials announced.

Send-off rally Tues. for Grizzly Volleyball team
WEST PLAINS, Mo. – The Missouri State University-West Plains Grizzly Volleyball team will head for the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division I Women’s National Volleyball Championship Tournament Tuesday, Nov. 17, and everyone is invited to come and give the team a rousing send-off beginning at 10 a.m. that day in front of the Grizzly statue off Trish Knight Street on the Missouri State-West Plains campus.
